COVID-19 UPDATE AND REOPENING INFORMATION

 

I’m back! I am excited to get back into the swing of normal life and take care of you all again.
 

There will be come changes with my policies to make everyone’s experience safe and comfortable. Please read though all of them and be aware for your first appointment back. I will also be booking timing in between each appointment to completely clean the products and service area. 

 

 

  • All guests must wear a mask during your service. I always have and always will wear a mask during our services to keep you safe from my germs (and coffee breath) and I hope you all give me the same respect. I will have disposable mask for sale for $2 if needed. However, Detroit clients, you must wear a mask to enter the WeWork building.

  • If you have been or members of your household have been sick, please reschedule. Please be mindful of how this will affect my business. If I get sick, no one gets lashes, and everyone will be very unhappy. 

  • No extra guests with your appointment. I am aware childcare is unavailable for most right now, however, please keep this in mind while booking your appointments.

 

 

Rebooking and New Full sets:

I will be working to ensure everyone gets their full set appointment within 3 weeks or so. Please my mindful that lash extensions take a lot from my body and soul and can only accommodate so many clients a day. 

 

  • Full sets will be booked for 2 hours and 30 minutes.  Please plan accordingly. This will get you nice and fluffy, plus time after to cash out/rebook your next appointment. I suggest bringing headphones to zone out into a podcast or music and get a nice lash nap in. Please use the restroom BEFORE your appointment time.
     

  • $50 NON REFUNDABLE / TRANSFERABLE deposits will be taken to book your full set. Please Venmo @jackiemakeup or Cashapp $jackiekaras once we confirm your appointment date/time. My schedule is going to be extremely tight for the next few months and cancelations or rescheduling appointments will not be forgiven. $50 will be taken off the remaining balance of your appointment. Please keep this in mind when you pick your appointment time.

 

New Policies and Pricing:

  • Late arrivals. In the past, I’ve been fairly lax with this policy. Going forward, arrival after 25 minutes of your originally scheduled appointment will be canceled with a 50% fee of the appointment due before I will book the next appointment. I typically have clients on waitlists for all appointment times, missing an appointment or only arriving for part of it isn’t fair to myself or the ladies begging for that appointment time.

  • Please review the rest of the policies I've had in place below as I will be enforcing them more strictly going forward.

Full Volume Set : $225

3 Week Volume Fill : $75

2 Week Volume Fill : $65

Classic Full Set: $175

2 Week Classic Fill : $60

3 Week Classic Fill : $70

Lash Lift and Tint : $65

Appointment hours:
I'll be working beyond my normal business hours for full sets as my schedule allows. All fill appointments will be booked within normal business hours.

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Arrival

Please aim to arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time with clean/makeup free eyes and lashes. I always start the service with a lash wash, however excessive makeup can delay your service. If you arrive after your scheduled appointment time, it may not be possible to extend the time available for your booked service; if your service is shortened due to your late arrival, you will still be charged the full cost of the service.

Changing your appointment

A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to reschedule/cancel a booked appointment without penalty. (This does not apply to full sets during June/July 2020. Deposits will not be forgiven for cancelations)

SICKNESS OR FAMILY EMERGENCY

If you, or another person in your household, has an infectious or contagious illness, please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment for a later date. For your safety and that of staff and other clients, please do not come to your appointments sick. If it is assumed you are currently sick, your appointment may be cut short or cancelled and rescheduled for when you are healthy again. A one-time allowance of last minute cancellation or reschedule will be permitted for sickness or family emergency. After that, the cancellation and no show policy is in effect.

CANCELLATION + NO SHOW

As a courtesy, appointment reminders are sent out 72 hours either by text. If an appointment is cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of your appointment, you will be charged  50% of your service as a cancellation fee. If you reschedule or no show your appointment within 4 hours of your scheduled appointment time, you will be charged 100% of your service as a cancellation fee. A Venmo deposit for all new clients or appointments over $175 will be required at the time of booking. This is to protect your time that is set aside especially for you, as well as to protect our time which books up quickly. In turn, we promise to keep appointments on time, give you our full and undivided attention.

AFTER HOURS APPOINTMENTS

Certain circumstances and seasons may leave you in a panic to squeeze in a last minute lash appointment that is outside of our normal business hours. After hours appointments may be available on a case by case basis for an additional $20 fee. Please contact us directly to schedule your after hours appointment.

REFUND POLICY

You are paying for artist time, product and other expenses used to provide you with a service. No refunds will be given for any reason on services or products. If you are unhappy with a service, you may contact us within 72 hours of your appointment to discuss your concerns and if a fix can be done to address your concerns, it will be done so with a complimentary 30 minute express touch up if it is at the fault of application or product. Any concerns addressed after 72 hours of your last appointment, or if you failed to follow the proper aftercare instructions, will be charged at full price for the service.
